Tools and Productivity

• Still excited about Parakeet.
• I loved using the Craft app since 2021, but transitioning back to Obsidian because local files are so useful as context for agentic AI.
  • I used Antigravity for a few days, but kept encountering problems when trying to make the agent use Anthropic models. (But connecting via MCP to my Craft database was exciting.)
  • So, Cursor it is, at least for now.

Reading

I’ve been getting tremendous value from Dan Williams’ essays for two years now. [If you suddenly feel an urge to subscribe as well, no need to consult your local epistemologist, just take it from me.]

Thinking about

• How should we be teaching now that students can use not just LLMs but also agents?
• Vibe-coding is disrupting the classroom; but we can't pretend it doesn't exist.
